The Last Post

4/28/2026

For the past several years, I’ve been dealing with ongoing attempts by people trying to access or buy my Minecraft account, largely due to a rare Minecon 2013 cape tied to it. What started as occasional requests eventually escalated into harassment and, most recently, a successful hacking incident.

Last weekend, I fell for a particularly convincing attack. As a result, I lost access to my primary email account—one I had used for over 30 years. The account has since been confirmed compromised and permanently disabled. Since then, I’ve been working through the long process of securing everything else and rebuilding where I can.

This situation has forced me to reflect on the risks of maintaining a public online presence. Because my YouTube channel made it easy to connect my online persona to personal information, it ultimately made me a target.

I’ve decided that the best way to protect myself moving forward is to step away completely. I have already initiated the deletion of my YouTube channel and will be removing or closing all related accounts. This site will remain for now but will be simplified and eventually taken offline as well.

I’m grateful for the support I’ve received over the years, and I’m sorry to those who may be disappointed by this decision. This wasn’t made lightly, but it feels like the right step for my security and peace of mind.

Thank you for understanding.
