This is going to be a short update this month because there really isn't very much to report. Jet Fighter - Neon is built and ready to go to Microsoft for certification testing. Unfortunately, I'm not currently able to submit the game, as there appears to be a bug in my Microsoft account. When I look on my account details page it says that my account is active and ready to submit. HoIver, when I go to the page where I actually submit the game, it says that I can't submit because my account hasn't been verified. Bit perplexing, I know. So I've got Microsoft Support looking into the issue. They've actually been looking into the issue for majority of last month and this month. I've had a few back and forth email conversation, and I've done everything they've asked, but I still can't submit. At this point, I'm hoping its just a matter of getting the right Microsoft technician to look at the account to find the fix. Regardless, I've made up my mind, If they haven't gotten it fixed by the end of the month, I'll just create a new account specifically for publishing my games. Honestly, I probably should have done that to begin, with to seperate my personal accounts from the company. Aside from that, I've also changed all the graphics in the game, though you probably won't notice the difference. Previously all artwork was hand-drawn in Paint.NET, then had several effects applied within Paint.NET. Now, all the graphics are still hand-drawn in Paint.NET, but all effects are now applied in game using shaders. Like I said, most people probably won't notice the difference, but I can see it. I've also spent a little bit of time kicking around a few ideas for what our next game focus will be. I've got a few ideas, though none of them are really fleshed out enough to start working on. Its more a point of me making up my mind of what kind of game I want to dedicate my time in building. Of course, if you have an idea of a game type that you'd like to see me build, use my Contact form to let me know. I'm always open to new ideas. Well, that's it for this month's update. Until next month, keep gaming.
