While absolutely nothing has changed in the app other than a few minor bug fixes, Google is rejecting the update on the grounds of a Spam violation. Like I said though, when I submitted the update I didn’t change the title, description, or anything. I tried contacting Google via chat to see if they could tell me a little more specifically what the problem was, but the lady that was chatting with me said they can’t address Google Play policies in chat so she had to forward it to someone else and they’ll get back in touch with me within two days. I’m a bit perplexed by this. I mean, if the application description or title was the issue, shouldn’t the first release have been rejected instead of waiting for a random update? What’s even more frustrating is the help documentation alludes that it could be either the application title or the description. The description can be fixed, but I don’t really like the idea of changing the title of the app once its been published and users have started to install it. Anyways, that just means it may take a few stinking days for the update to be released. In the meantime however, the updated data is still available. Just delete your existing data and download the new data.
