For a while now, I've had a system in place for tracking page hits. The system merely tracked what pages were being viewed and how many unique visitors were viewing them. Very basic data, but enough to help me to know what parts of my website were the most popular. Unfortunately the system I had in place had two major flaws. It didn't track the data at the post level, and it did not even attempt to ignore those silly web crawlers. Both of these issues have now been fixed. My web statistics system has been upgraded so that I can see the number of views to each page, as well as to each post. The new system has also been designed to allow me to see the traffic for each page or post, on a per day level. The system has also been upgraded to not track views done by most web crawlers and bots. This may not seem like much, but it helps me tremendously to be able to gauge what type of posts you guys are interested in the most. It will also help me to identify if a specific game page is getting more traffic. Such data will help me to know which of my games might need an update or new features. In the interest of transparency, I am making the statistics page available to you on our Admin Page. If you like viewing those statistics, and would like me to provide a permanent link to the page on the website, let me know by using the Respond button below.
